These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Farm OS, the farm management application operated by Farm OS (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use Farm OS.
Farm OS is a subscription web application for tracking properties, crops, livestock, inventory, equipment, expenses, tasks, and weather, and for participating in a network feed with other farmers. It is not accounting, legal, veterinary, or agronomic advice, and we don't guarantee any particular farm outcome.
You need an account to use Farm OS. Accounts are created and authenticated through our identity provider (Supabase Auth). You're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access — you can also change your password any time from Settings inside the app.
Farm OS is offered on Basic, Plus, and Pro plans, each with a different property limit. Paid plans are billed through Stripe, our payment processor. We do not store your card number — Stripe does, under its own security and compliance controls. You can view and change your plan from the Billing page inside the app at any time. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
You own the farm data you put into Farm OS — property details, crop and livestock records, inventory, expenses, and anything you post to the network feed. We store it to provide the service to you and don't claim ownership of it. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle it, including the fact that we don't sell it to third parties.
Content you post to the farmer network feed is visible to other Farm OS users. Don't post anything you don't have the right to share, and don't use the feed to harass, spam, or mislead other farmers. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate this.
Don't try to break, reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or resell access to Farm OS. Don't use it to store data you don't have the legal right to store. Don't use it in a way that endangers the availability of the service for other farmers.
You can stop using Farm OS and cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. If your account is terminated for cause, we may retain your data only as long as necessary for legal or security purposes, then delete it.
Farm OS is provided “as is.” We work to keep it available and accurate, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access or that every feature (like weather data pulled from third-party sources) will always be error-free. To the extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Farm OS is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
We may update these Terms as Farm OS evolves. If we make a material change, we'll note it on this page with a new “last updated” date. Continuing to use Farm OS after a change means you accept the update.
